In accordance with the regulations provided for in Notice on the Adjustment and Establishment of Beijing Municipal Committee of Communications promulgated by General Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality (Promulgated by General Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, No.: [2003]12), Beijing Municipal Transportation Administration Bureau (Municipal Transportation Bureau for short) is established. The organization will use the name of Beijing Local Maritime Administration Bureau (Municipal Maritime Administration for short). Municipal Transportation Bureau (Municipal Maritime Administration) is an administrative organization that takes charge of the management of the traffic and transportation industry and the supervision of water safety in Beijing under the leadership of Beijing Municipal Committee of Communications.
